Email Gateway Configurator Settings

This appendix describes additional, optional Email Gateway Configurator parameters not covered in the Required Configuration sections in MS Exchange Environments and SMTP-Compliant Environments. The required Email Gateway Configurator parameters described in those chapters are not described here.

Required Email Gateway Configurator parameters vary depending on the Email Gateway protocol configuration option you use. For detailed explanation on the configuration required for the different Email Gateway options, see:

MS Exchange Environments
MS Exchange Environments
SMTP-Compliant Environments

The Email Gateway Configurator parameters described here, unlike the required configuration parameters described in earlier chapters, are common to all of the Email Gateways. The only exception is the Exchange Connector Using MAPI option’s Email to Fax tab, which is different from the Email to Fax tab of the other two options, and is not required for the Exchange Connector Using MAPI option’s basic configuration.

Use this table as a quick reference for the Configuration utility’s different tabs and their associated options.
